Toddler & Play Group (1.5yrs – 2.5yrs)
In our Toddler & Playgroup Community, we celebrate the Independent spirit, active Curiosity, and Energy of our little ones. Exciting growth occurs in the toddler years, and our carefully planned classrooms are ideal places to foster your child’s determined desire to explore and learn. Our teachers support this independent spirit, which builds self-confidence and joy in discovery. Toddlers spend their days in a warm, inviting space filled with fun activities, art and music that is purposefully designed to encourage social, physical, and emotional growth and awareness.
Pre Nursery & Nursery (3yrs – 5yrs)
Children in Pre Nursery & Nursery are energetic, curious, and excited learners. With wonder and eagerness, they embrace our curriculum which is carefully prepared with Montessori and Thematic activities . The materials help them learn sounds of letters, identifying numbers with quantities, decimal system, caring for self, Botany, Zoology and Geography. The learning happens by exploring through all the senses, which leads to concrete understanding and a strong foundation for abstract thinking skills. They strengthen the social and emotional skills and learn to be kind, compassionate members of a supportive community.
Kindergarten (5yrs – 6yrs)
As the child progresses to the Kindergarten program, they show extraordinary growth in their academic skills, emotional maturity, and independence. From reading to continent studies to complex activities , our far-reaching curriculum encourages children to be versatile and confident . The unique Montessori approach features a blend of teacher-led instructions and independent work so the children remain inherently motivated to work to their potential at their own pace. They have time to master skills without being pressured or feeling anxious. Self confident, happy, caring and independent children leave our Preschool ready and excited to enter the Primary Level School.
Extended Preschool (1.5yrs – 10yrs)
Our Day Care program known as the Extended Preschool are an extension of MMI Preschool experience, providing full day, half day and after school care. The activities are structured and tailor made. It’s a wonderful way for children to continue building on Montessori practices, as well as get exposed to other initiatives. A great platform for social and emotional growth. The children are provided a safe, healthy and hygienic environment.
Montessori Teacher Training
The Modern Montessori Teacher Training Centre, India, is of international repute and its graduates hold successful positions both within the country as well as Internationally. This course aims to develop in students a high level of competence when teaching the Montessori Method of Education to children from 2 ½ to 6 years. With the added element of Teaching practice it is also ensuring that you have a firm knowledge of working within the Montessori Environment. This program is accredited by the Open Distance Learning Quality Council of the UK., The British Accreditation on Council and has received other international awards and accreditations.
Having its Head Training Centre at Gurgaon, MMI is expanding with more training centers all over India and one of which is at MMI Chennai. The infrastructural and specialized support is from the teachers who are trained in the Modern Montessori International, Teacher Centers. The Diploma is awarded by Modern Montessori International, London is internationally recognized and valued.
