About Us

MMI Noida

Modern Montessori International Pre-School Centre, founded in 2003, is located in sector 122, Noida, Uttar Pradesh.

The school uses the Montessori Method to help each child spontaneously reach his or her full potential - intellectually, socially, and emotionally. Teaching values at our school are aimed towards imparting qualities of self-confidence, poise, a spirit of sharing, and exemplary social behaviour. Such cognitive and affective input from the school brings about a holistic development of the child's personality at an early age that is an invaluable investment for their future.

Director

No matter who you are, no matter what you did, no matter where you’ve come from, you can always change, become a better version of yourself. – Madonna

I came across this enriching quote recently and realized how relevant it is for all of us: children, parents and teachers. One can never stop learning from its surroundings.

Academic excellence with character and personality development is our ultimate goal. The well chalked out academic and co-curricular program enables our students to attain their full potential to develop sound work habits. The academic work is centred around highly personalized attention and supervision.

We believe that along with all these attributes which add up to children becoming truly educated, schools and teachers must ensure that children are a part of a society that is full of enriching experiences. These experiences develop a child’s creativity and imagination and lead to something that is often thought to be more important than knowledge. Creativity and imagination shape children to be productive leaders who become responsible citizens of the world, ready to make their own great contribution to mankind.

My message to the Principals, Staff, Students and esteemed Parents of Modern Montessori International, is to dedicate this year to a correct understanding of what education really means and let us all benefit from this understanding. May we give our students strong roots like the Banyan Tree and stronger wings to conquer the world!

Facilities

1. Class rooms

Beautiful, inviting, thoughtfully arranged class rooms with soft colours and uncluttered spaces set the stage for calm and focused activity in the learning environment. The essence of Dr Maria Montessori’s educational philosophy is the holistic development of the child, and every element of the learning curriculum supports this goal, including the design of the classroom Learning materials are displayed on accessible shelves fostering freedom of choice as students go about their work.

By working in these purposefully designed classrooms, Montessori children are encouraged to develop independence, foster social skills, and find joy in learning.

Notable features that set these learning spaces apart from normal rooms are -

  • Class rooms have an area devoted to peace and reflection, a quiet corner with well-chosen items

  • Members address each other respectfully and in modulated tones. There are no raised voices; no rude or hurtful behaviour.

2. Library

Libraries play a major role in fostering literacy, especially among preschool and elementary-aged children. To inculcate reading habit in the early years MMI has a well-equipped library with books on various topics which include plant life, animal kingdom, transportation, different countries of the World and the Universe. The collection of books enhances the learning in the curriculum and encourages interest in a wide variety of topics. To develop a passion for reading that will last a life time, stories are read out to children and they are helped to make story related craft work.

3. Security

MMI is dedicated to provide a safe and secure learning environment for the wonderful children entrusted in our care.

4. Medical

The school has adequate first aid facilities and for any serious illness or emergencies the school has a tie up with a reputed hospital.

A play area that deepens children’s’ investigation into the world around them. We have a designated play area with engaging play opportunities which allows the children to play, explore and learn in the natural environment.

6. Transport

MMI has its own private transport system. The vehicles are air-conditioned and operate within a 5km radius of the school.

7. Extra-curricular activities

We understand the importance of extra-curricular activities in a child’ education which is why we have incorporated a few engaging and enriching activities in our curriculum. We offer dancing, pottery as well as art and craft activities to children to help them learn better.

8. Covid precautions

We as a school as fully aware and follow all the necessary covid-19 protocols. All our staff members are fully vaccinated. We also make sure that all staff members, students and parents properly sanitize themselves before entering the premises, wear a face mask at all times and ensure regular sanitization of the school to provide the children with a safe environment.
