Modern Montessori International Teacher Training Centre (India)

“The real preparation for education is the study of one’s self. The training of the teacher who is to help life is something far more than the learning of ideas. It includes the training of character; it is a preparation of spirit.” Dr. Maria Montessori.

The Modern Montessori International (MMI) Group, a global educational organization, specializing in the Montessori Method of early childhood education has grown to encompass more than 40 centers worldwide.

The MMI staff has been working dedicatedly and diligently in this field to promote an internationally designed education in the country. The Montessori system is fascinating purely because it is more than 100 year old system, but it is still relevant in this age.

The Teacher Training programme for Diploma in Montessori Method of Education, conducted by MMI Group is designed for parents, teachers, aspiring teachers or any individual who is associated with the early childhood development. The course focuses to enhance the skill set required for better parenting, teaching and to be a contributing member of the society. The trainees under this programme are given extensive knowledge of early childhood development and awarded with highly acclaimed diploma by MODERN MONTESSORI INTERNATIONAL (LONDON) on the successful completion of the course. “The first duty of an education is to stir up life, but leave it free to develop.”

The present day education has unique needs and challenges which are unable to be met by stereotypical educational methods. We need a child centric approach which aims at fostering independence, values, critical thinking, analytical and decision making skills, life skills, self awareness, empathy, tolerance and harmony.

Modern Montessori International was established to maintain the rich Montessori tradition by promoting the most up to date and comprehensive courses and child development services based on the Montessori method and to meet the growing demand of trained teachers in our country and abroad. It provides students with all the knowledge, experience and practical training required in preschool education for teaching students from 18 months to 6 years.

M.M.I. design and delivery of Montessori teacher Training programmes are of the highest quality and relevance wherein we value child centric, holistic approach in which teacher is the guide, facilitator who is the dynamic link between the child and the environment.

She facilitates greater collaboration and social learning as an integral component of the learning process, teaching children how to regulate their own social interactions and experience the freedom to learn how to negotiate, share, mediate and compromise.
